TikTok approached us with the desire to get more people on the platform to engage with TikTok LIVE. Through a series of fifteen-second vignettes, we told stories about how regular, everyday users have found unexpected friendships and communities on LIVE by following their passions. With hobbies like tarot reading, foraging for mushrooms, cooking, and even snake keeping, we see two seemingly different people build connections and share their joy together on LIVE. We cast a diverse set of eleven humans and one snake, and gave these vignettes a high-production, polished feel on a tight budget.
